Journal Entry, Black Fire Pass, 2524 Winter.
The first days of travel went well. The Zeppelin is truly a marvel to experience, and I have tried to understand many of the mechanism to keep the ship in the air, but many of these dwarf secrets are beyond me to grasp. Today we reached Kazad Haz-Drazh-Kadrin, the outpost guarding the passage to the south. As we prepared to land, we were attacked by a terrible wyvern and had to fight for our lives.
As we finally made it into the fortress, we were confronted with a true mayhem of chaos and death. The whole place had turned into a warzone as what must be the Nosebiter Night Goblin tribe were attacking the place. To make matters worse, undeads were rising as well. We had to save what dwaves we could.
Cassandra barely escaped when she encountered the despicable Averland Fancypants Party. Their necromancer was controlling several of the dead, and they mad witch hunter had his eyes on her as well. Thank the heavens she escaped. Algrimson and Peter Templeman managed to drop a small bomb as they encountered the party later, but all this was really hampering our efforts to find survivors. I was fighting in the Great Hall. Sadly I arrived too late to save the Rune Priest. Instead I was faced with more goblins than I could count and had to put all my fencing lessons to the test. I was surprised to discover Sybille Du Valle fighting a huge troll, in the darkness I could still make out her dress, through it was torn. I had no idea she was such a skilled fighter, actually it seemed as she had the upper hand! Too many goblins though, I could not make progress, and both of the Mad Witchhunters showed up. Adele surrounded by a small host of dwarves and Van Hal with his pet Necromancer and Lady Wanda as prisoner. But then Van Hal murdered Wanda and charged Sybille du Valle. I had to retreat up the stairs, but as we later drifted southwards, it was clear that Van Hal and his Fancypants Murderers had survived. If the wind picks up, we should be able to loose them soon.

In this episode the Averland Fancypants journey through the Black Fire Pass. On route they and espectially their wizard Leopold Schatterman notice a shockwave in the winds of magic, and he instantly embrace the lore of Necromancy! A nasty ghoul pledge to serve him, and joins up. Meanwhile Karl Van Hal teach Lady Wanda about Sigmar hoping to eventually turn her around.
The Party each Kazad Haz-Drazh-Kadrin, a dwarven outpost and notice some broken main gate, remains of war machines and the zeppelin fighting a wyvern over the outpost.
The Fancypants sneak into the outpost and starts to make their way through a place torn by battle.
In the tavern they save two drunk dwarfs.
In the smithy they help out the dwarf smith.
As they proceed through the outpost it is clear that 4 other factions are figting it out:
- Dwarves with the help of Adele Ketzenblum‘s zealots
- Undeads likely controlled by Sybille or Immoliah Fey
- Night Goblins from the Nosebiter Tribe with a few trolls on their side.
- Marius von Tuchtenhagen’s party also investigating the place.
The party try their best to help out the dwarves, and attack whoever is in their way. In the end they reach the great hall. Here Leopold cast magic dart at Sybille, who was fighting the troll. Sybille charge Leopold and knocks him right out in a quick series of blows and cuts. Van Hal also had focus on killing Sybille and facing both the seasoned Witch Hunter and a troll, eventually Sybille was slain. The ghoul and Van Hal flees with leopold from the huge troll.
On their way through the temple, Van Hal notice the dead runepriest who seems to have been murdered in the same manner has his master. Van Hal instantly suspect Ketzenblum.
The party makes it out alive and flees southwards from the greenskin force.
