Satisfied Lord Smogg exited the ancient tomb deep in the mountain pass. It was then his scrawny follower spoke “But master, Demons are amassing in the pass, they have blocked our exit”
Lord Smogg not in the mood for bad news, instantly decapitated his unfortunate follower. Nevertheless this would be a mighty clash between Sylvania and the Incursion of Chaos.
Turn 1. – VampiresSkeletons and ghouls move forward to guard the river positions. Immoliah Fey, a necromancer manage to raise more skeletons…. just in case. Long dead at the cemetery gladly join the under forces.
Turn 1. – DemonsDemons advance slightly and the bloodthirster charge the ghouls! Flamers shoot Lord Smogg and wound his dragon. A nasty fight commence, and Sybille a vampires hero drinks a potion of strength and causes 3 wounds on the Bloodthirster. In return the bloodthirster kill a number of ghouls.
Turn 2. VampiresLord Smogg flies behind the enemy lines. Dire wolves charge flamers but are burned to crisp. Immoliah Fey boost the ghouls in numbers and with some van hells dance macabre. Lord Smogg cast winds of death and kills a number of demons across several units. The rest of the line is held steady. Sybille and her Ghouls inflict another 2 wound on the bloodthirster and wins combat, reforming to more ranks.
Turn 2. DemonsA herald hex the ghouls reducing their toughness to 1. Flamers turn around to face Lord Smogg that landed right behind them. They cause a wound on the vampire lord. The other flamers fail to damage the Black Coach. Sybille inflict two more wounds on the bloodthirster, killing him
Turn 3. VampiresBlack Coach charge the flamers on their left flank. Black Knights and Lord Smogg charge the flamers on the right flank. The flamers on left flank stand their ground despite some casualties. The flamers on the right flank are destroyed. Lord Smogg and Black Knights reform. More ghouls are raised.
Turn 3. DemonsPlaguebeares charge the black coach in the side. The sheer number of demons is too much for the coach and it is destroyed. Flamers reform facing the ghouls. Plaguebeares face the black knights. Bloodletters and Skeleton warriors are still watching each other from a distance at the other flank.
Turn 4. VampiresGhouls charge plaguebeares in rear! Knights charge from the front. Lord Smogg charge the flamers. The plaguebeares gets hexed and loose strength. The ghouls are boosted in numbers and gets dance macabre. Lord Smogg destroy the flamers. Plaguebeares loose a large number.
Turn 4. DemonsBloodletters charge the black knights in the rear. This completely destroy the black knights, but the last plaguebearers are killed in the fight as well, removing the ghouls from the engagement. The demons are out of magic with both their heralds killed by Lord Smogg.
Turn 5. VampiresSkeleton warriors charge the bloodletters in flank. Sybille use her shadow magic to trade places with the battle standard. She is now in the skeleton unit. Bloodletters gets hexed for 2 strength. Skeleton Warriors gets dance macabre. Ghouls and Skeleton units are boosted. Lord Smogg recovers his wound lost earlier. The Bloodletters kills off the Vampire Count Battle Standard and the skeleton unit champion. With hatred working in their favor, the demons do fairly well, but still loose combat.
Turn 5. ChaosThe last demons finally fall to the sheer number of undead minions fighting them on both fronts. Lord Smogg held on to the Black Orb. But at what cost?
