The Averland Fancypants are on their way to The Upright Pig for some ale, and to catch up on news. Especially since the elven messenger from Marienburg has just arrived. Several members of the group wear fancy red pants, which is the latest fashion in Averheim. By the Upright Pig, the group get caught in a fistfight between the Warf Rats and the Fish, and with some head-butt’s and well aimed fists to the eye, the party proves a point and the elven messenger convince the Fish to drop the matter. Taking shelter from the foul rainy weather, the party enjoys some good ale in the Upright Pig, before turning in for the night.
Talking to Werner Klebb, it turns out one of their gangers are missing and they blame the fish, offering 30 Silver for the party to find Rolf.
Timeline: Check the Calender
It is gloomy and overcast with an occasional light drizzle as the party makes their rounds on the docks, they discover Rolf is just one of several missing:
Talking to the Warf-Rats, they clearly blame the Fish for Rolf’s disappearance. It is seen as a way for the “Dirty Marienburgers” to expand their territory. Werner relates that he saw the Rolf 6 days ago telling Rolf to “Keep Dry” before they parted in the evening. (Bezahltag 33rd.). The criminal has investigated his shed, but found nothing suspicious.
Gerd Knakk of the Fish refuse that they have anything to do with the disappearance.
Also known as the outcast, who did not show up yesterday. The party found him dead in a barrel. He was last seen in the evening at Marktag 5th by the White Horse Inn. Hanz was a heavily build man in his late thirties, broken nose and close cropped hair. While strange that the cuts he had would have killed him, Leopold Schatterman does not find any traces of magic. The flesh around the cuts is warm and cheese like.
Several of you knew Hanz, a northlander type, who has lived in Averheim a while. His background has made it hard for him to fit in and his proclaimed devotion to Sigmar often come across as mal-placed. Lately he has been vocal about how he feel unable to control his own destiny and blames the system, the empire and at times even the nature of the human race. On the other hand he has a strong desire to “Change things” in Averheim. He no longer wish to be a pawn of petty criminals, and he feels money should be earned rather than inherited. You know he has been running one of the local protection racket. Most on the docks would likely have an opinion on him. He had business with Frederick Grosz in particular.
Talking to Olga Klinkski, a local fishwife in her mid thirties, you learn of another disappearance and she hands you one of her fliers. The criminal ask 1 gold for assistance, but Frederich von Feschhosen brush it off and promise to help for no cost.
The party also talk to various people on the docks and uncover that there are rumors of a man in a black hood having control with part of the underworld. Below is a list of some of the people the party engage in conversations…
